Viva

I am in Las Vegas right now attending Autodesk's One Team Conference (OTC) and Sales Camp. Autodesk puts an unbelievable amount of effort into making sure its partners (resellers) are properly trained and have the resources they need to spot trends and takes advantage of them. They also have classes on how to hire the right people and keep them and how to motivate people.

The big thing is to get all the resellers to sell more AutoCAD Architectural (formerly ADT) and Revit seats, but honestly the overwhelming majority of our customers don't need what those packages offer, so most of this I just have to take with a grain of salt.

The keynote address yesterday morning was by none other than former President Bill Clinton and his view of the future and how to compete. He was excellent and is an exceptional speaker, as always.

I'll post more about SMaRTools next week...
