About the Blog:

Disclaimer:
If you need an official Hydratec company response please contact Hydratec.

The content of this site is my own personal opinion and does not represent my employer's view in any way.

While not everything is the official Hydratec opinion, endorsement, or recommendation, it is a blog from a Hydratec employee. This approach provides direct contact between customers and Hydratec personnel most familiar with our products.

About Me:

I have worked for Hydratec since 1985 when I was referred to them by a friend who also worked there. I figured what the heck, I'll do this for a year or two and then decide what to do with the rest of my life. 20+ years later I am still here.

My first position was calculating sprinkler systems for Hydratec on a Wang PC and then progressed to CAD based design two years later after HydraCAD had been released. That new computer was an IBM PC/AT clocked at 8Mhz.

After ten years of design in Hydratec's engineering department I moved into programming HydraCAD using AutoLISP, a task which I still enjoy today.

I also handles sales and marketing responsibilites, am the Hydratec webmaster and network administrator and I split the rest of my time between training, being trained and doing trade shows and sales demonstrations.

I live in southwestern Maine with my wife where we try to turn the wooded wilderness into some kind of respectable home. Or at least a semi-respectable one.
