My co-worker George showed me this one:
In Outlook 2003 you can assign colors to email addresses so you can quickly tell whether the email came from a friend or foe (or your boss!)
In Outlook 2003 pick the Tools pull down then pick Organize. Pick Using Colors on the left. That's about it - just type in contact names using commas to separate multiple contacts. I have emails from my coworkers come in Red, those from Family come in Green, etc. All unassigned names continue to come in Black.
One tip - you are limited to the number of names you type in to the name field, so if you have multiple co-workers with the same last name then use only their last name.
Update: This also works for Outlook 2007, use the same menu.
